PLAY LIKE BRAY

SportONE Parkview Icehouse has renamed Rink 1 to Rink 47 in memory of Braydin Lewis, a beloved local hockey player who tragically passed away in April 2022. Braydin, a talented player from Angola, Indiana, was the son of former Komets player Adam Lewis and bravely battled glioblastoma, a severe form of brain cancer.

Braydin began his hockey journey at the age of 3, eventually becoming a junior hockey player for the Metro Jets in Mount Clemens, Michigan. A memorial fund in Braydin’s name has been established to celebrate his life and legacy.

The Braydin Lewis Fund (Play Like Bray Inc.) serves as a remembrance for our son, friend, brother and teammate. The foundation will serve as a dedication to his life and how he lived and served his family, friends, teammates and community.

Braydin’s parents, Kristen and Adam Lewis, along with his brother Corbin Moore, are actively involved in the foundation, aiming to honor Braydin’s lively spirit and his #playlikebray philosophy.

The Braydin Lewis #playlikebray Fund provides financial support to junior hockey players in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Mt Clemens, Michigan, where Braydin played with the Metro Jets organization.

The family and board members organize an annual charitable hockey event in Fort Wayne, Indiana, at rink 47 to celebrate Braydin’s life and raise funds for junior hockey players in need.
