Figure skaters can work on competitive routines, take private/semi-private lessons or practice, & can take advantage of freestyle sessions. Hockey private lessons (one skater per coach) permitted. Hockey gear, helmet, stick or pucks are not permitted.

Boost Lessons
Boost Lessons offer short, personalized instruction sessions aimed at enhancing skills for skaters of all ages.
LESSONS INCLIDE
Each lesson lasts 20 minutes and can be arranged during public or freestyle skating times. In a supportive atmosphere, these lessons ensure a fun experience, whether the focus is on hockey or figure skating. You can book up to three lessons, and for further sessions, you’ll need to coordinate directly with your coach.
The cost for each Boost Lesson is $20, payable at skate rental before the lesson begins. Remember to bring your receipt to show your instructor at the scheduled time.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Boost lessons are only available for the Learn to Skate USA, Hockey 1-4 or Adult 1-4 program participants or prior to the program.

BOOK YOUR LESSON!
Step 1: Go to the website Coaching Staff – SportONE Parkview Icehouse for the available coaches/instructor’s staff
Step 2: Select your preferred US Figure Skating Certified Coach or Learn to Skate Instructor. Email your request directly to the coach/instructor or Skating Director , Alena Lunin
Step 3: You must pay $10 for ice time on the day of the Boost lesson and provide a receipt to the coach/instructor prior to the lesson time.
Step 4: Boost lesson fee is paid directly to the coach/instructor
Lessons are be taught during freestyle or public skating sessions.

There are a few ways to arrange a private lesson:
You are welcome to come and observe our professionals and approach them directly to arrange a lesson day & time. Coaches set their own schedules. Private lessons are available during public and freestyle sessions for all levels of skaters & hockey.
A few tips to find the right coach:
There are many factors involved in selecting a coach. Some things to consider are personality, learning & teaching styles, experience, and technical know-how.
You know your child and have the best idea of who might make a good fit. Keep your childs personality and needs in mind when interviewing and selecting a coach.
